What's on tap

Fairplay Taproom

Sultana Super High Five Imperial Happoshu

5.3%
Rice Lager
Happoshu is a Japanese low malt, low ABV type of beer. We used a healthy amount of rice to lighten the body of this lager and a healthier amount of Sultana hops to add loads of flavor but not much bitterness. Hop flavors of pineapple, citrus, and pine prevail with fresh grassy notes on the finish.

God Save the Bitter

4.9%
Bitter - Best
A collaboration brew with our friends at Ratio Beerworks in Denver! This copper coloured Best Bitter English style ale stands upright on a solid malt backbone with hints of caramel. East Kent Golding and First Gold hops add herbal and grassy notes with hints of orange marmalade.

Frisco Gold

5.2%
Blonde / Golden Ale - Other
Crisp, Refreshing American Blonde ale

Pro-Czech Ya Neck

4.6%
Pilsner - Czech / Bohemian
Pro-Czech ya Neck begins with classic earthy and flowery Noble hop aromas with a waft of malty goodness. The flavor starts with a deft interplay of malt sweetness and hop bitterness that quickly counter each other for a balanced taste with only a slight linger of hop bitterness. Earthy, flowery hop flavor leads to a pleasant lemon pithy and light malt end. Higher carbonation levels lend a palette scrubbing effect that adds to the clean, crisp, and smooth finish that is expected of a quality Pilsener.

Kingdom Kolsch

5.2%
Kölsch
Crisp, easy drinking German Ale. A slightly higher hop flavor and aroma than a typical Kolsch but not enough to detract from the inherent crushability of the style. German Hallertau Blanc and Callista hops give a nuanced fruity, white grape, melon character, with just the perfect amount bitterness to increase the drinkability of this easy going ale.

173 Steps Pale

5.6%
Lager - Pale
173 steps from the Breckenridge Gondola, you'll find this easy drinking lager at our Breck Taphouse! With a generous dose of Alora hops. A light malt sweetness tempers the light bitterness letting flavors of subtle apricot, yuzu fruit, and sweet melon shine.

Big

Descent of Man

8.3%
Sour - Other
An American Stout soured in gin, brandy, and whiskey barrels for several years to create a complex but smooth sour. Notes of chocolate, gin botanicals, and hazelnut, with a Madeira like finish.

Pale Nectar Ale

5.7%
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
A hazy American Pale Ale using Nectaron Hops from New Zealand with a smidge of El Dorado hops for a delicious juicy experience.

Rookie Guide

5.3%
Pale Ale - New England / Hazy
The Rookie Guide is an easy drinking hazy pale ale with bright citrus notes and a very clean finish. El Dorado hops might be a bit basic in the realm of hoppy beers, but the Kashmir hops bring out a deliciously unique flavor

Senior Guide IPA

6.8%
IPA - New England / Hazy
Senior Guide and New England IPA's (NEIPA) are generally low in bitterness and high in hop aroma and flavor. Malt flavor is low with a light, bready, malty character. Mouthfeel is somewhat full bodied from haze forming proteins and yeast still in suspension, the trademark of this style. This combination of light malt , high hopping rate and protein haze help give the requisite "juiciness" that has pushed the New England style to the height of popularity.

Trip Leader

6.5%
IPA - American
Aromas of pine, grapefruit and hints of tropical fruit blended with a touch of yeasty breadlines. What follows is a delicious blend of citrus and pine finished with a malty backbone. Body and mouthfeel are medium to medium light to allow the hops to shine. As raft guides go, we like to hit both sides of the river or both “coasts” and this IPA is a representation of that.
